Do you want to stay up on current, exciting music? Let the journey begin! Our goal was to start a site that followed the musical adventures and exploits of a group of friends that have music coursing through their blood. We stay on top of show listings; we know all of the coolest, hippest, newest bands out there; we’re up on current events and happenings in the music industry.  

Let’s face it, the musical landscape that we all live in is drastically different than the one some of us once knew. There aren’t as many reliable filters (MTV, MuchMusic etc.) to trust any longer. The Internet has leveled the playing ground; there are just SO many bands out there, and the popular music fan base has become extremely splintered. It’s tough to stay on top of things!  

Thus, stop by one place: A Thousand Points Of Light! Get informed and have fun! This is one of the most exciting times in music for us. Positivity and great music is abound. Enjoy
   

GVB (Location = Toronto) We started this site out of pure, 100% unbridled passion for music. We initially had no expectations and simply wrote for the sake of writing. We were thrilled when an Artist, Manager or Label Owner read our post — or simply a fan for that matter. That’s what mattered the most, and, still rings true. We all have our opinions and likes/dislikes when it comes to music, but hopefully you find something you like and can embrace here

SK (Location = Vancouver) I joined ATPOL in May of 2008 to write about the music I love, and, to share that love with anyone who cares to read about it. My hope is to turn people onto some new bands (or some older ones) that they may have not been interested in before.

NATE (Location = Toronto) I’ve always loved talking about, debating about, and bonding over music, so for me this site is just an extension of that — an outlet to discuss and promote bands that are giving it a go.

SARA-MAY (Location = Auckland) You know the day after you’ve been to an amazing concert, and you are still on a high…like you’re floating a little and in a fantastic mood? Then you try to tell people about it, and they nod and smile, but just don’t get it? I love that feeling. I hope everyone experiences it. I want to share those moments.
